OCCUPATIONAL DRIVER'S LICENSE

An occupational driver's license is a restricted license which allows a person to drive a non-commercial vehicle for work, school or to perform essential household duties. Occupational licenses are most often needed for DWI related charges. However, there are provisions to suspend a person's drivers license for other criminal related charges such as the possession of drugs, too many moving violations and, in the case of a juvenile offense, for any adjudication.
